Bio

Jacinto Adap has served the church in various capacities since 1984. He began his journey as a church auditor and accountant at the Central Luzon Conference, before moving to the North Philippine Union Mission in 1992. In 1997, he was appointed as the Financial Controller of the Southern Asia Pacific Division.

In 2004, Jacinto answered the call to become the Associate Treasurer at the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division, serving in Zimbabwe and South Africa. By June 2011, he returned to the Southern Asia Pacific Division (SSD) as an Associate Treasurer, overseeing accounting, investments, and development. His dedication and expertise led to his election as Under Treasurer in July 2015.

During the GC Session in St. Louis, Missouri, in June 2022, Jacinto was elected as the new Treasurer of SSD.

Jacinto holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, from Philippine Union College, and a Master of Business Administration from Adventist University of the Philippines.

Even before his ordination as a pastor in March 2023, Jacinto was passionate about nurturing and encouraging church members to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus.

He is blessed with a lovely and very supportive wife, June Darlene Imperio Adap, who has served the church since 1983. They have two sons, both married, and together with their spouses, they all continue to work for the church.
